Ontario Secondary School Diploma at or above the general level or its equivalent. Grade 12 English or equivalent is required. Applicants aged 19 or over without the OSSD will be considered on the basis of their results on the College's Mature Student Test. Graduates of the new Ontario Secondary School Curriculum: Ontario Secondary School Diploma with courses from College (C), University (U), University/College (M), or Open (O) preparation levels.

Students should submit a completed application and transcript to Ontario College Application Services (OCAS) at www.ontariocolleges.ca. The application service will send your application to the colleges you have chosen. You may be asked to complete questionnaires, provide portfolios, attend interviews, and/or take part in testing or information sessions. The application processing fee is $95.00. The application fee is payable to OCAS. The preferential deadline for full-time diploma programs beginning in September is February 1.
Students can download an application form, and find out information about how to apply to Canadore College and student visa information by going to this web page: http://www.canadorec.on.ca/Life/NewStudents/International.cfm. With the application the student will need to forward copies of their education transcripts and if English is not their first language a copy of a TOEFL or IELTS (or equivalent) test score.
